Caterpillar Garden Tours offers informative and fully guided electric shuttle tours through Christchurch’s spectacular Botanic Gardens.
Established in 1863, the gardens 75 acres host without doubt the finest collection of exotic and indigenous plants to be found anywhere in New Zealand. Operating a continuous daily service, Caterpillar Garden Tours allows visitors to discover the natural beauty, history and culture of this central city oasis while at the same time being taken around the gardens in all weather, comfort and style.
The professionally-guided tours have been designed to allow visitors the flexibility of staying on the shuttles for the full circuit or alternatively visitors can choose to "hop on or hop off" at any of the clearly-identified stops around the Gardens. A single ticket is valid for 2 consecutive days.
The modern shuttle fleet of 4 vehicles are electric & solar-powered and are environmentally and wheelchair friendly. Each shuttle can carry upto 20 visitors. Group charters, Weddings can be accommodated.
TOUR TIMES
10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm from the Canterbury Museum entrance of the Botanic Gardens.
TICKETS
Tickets can be conveniently purchased RIGHT HERE ONLINE (by clicking the "book now" button above) or on the day from the shuttle driver. Eftpos, C/C and cash accepted.

Adults $18.00; Seniors $15.00; Children & youth (5-15 yrs) $9.00; Children Under 5 yrs FREE (must be accompanied by an adult).
